Mrs. Alice Tallstup
Dear Alice:—
Hope all is well with you and your family. We are fine. The weather is fine in day-time but cold nights down to 0 last night, the night before -8. So you would get your ears cold if you were out. Mother is fine except she does not get out any in this cold weather.
Mom and family are well. The children are all in school. Stephen is going over to Snow, Paul and Rayanna a high at Fillmore. Mary Lee at Scipio. Stephen generally gets home on Friday night and goes back on Sunday P.M. I think there are 6 going to Snow from here. How are the boys getting along? I hope you have them attend primary and Sunday school. Link Nelson we old enough to be made a Deacon. You know the church is the main thing in this life so don’t neglect it for we are not here very long.
And this life is just a schooling for the next so be sure and get the boys to the schooling places. The lovely girl is on the right track so get the boys to follow her.
Do you hear from Johnette very often? Write to her often. She needs to hear from us all and often.
You remember the picture I have of the 6 of us that were in our electrical engineering class. I am the only one left. There may be one more but I don’t know where he lives. He was in Los Angeles the last I knew of him but I could not find his number in the telephone book the last time I was down your way.
M. V. Eardley—so if you ever hear of him let me know. Was you with us when we went up to Richman in the old pick up and stopped at Nellie T. Webb. I thought we were all there. Nellie died a few weeks ago I hear about.
I run out of news so will leave you now, and maybe Mother has a few notes to tell.
Your Father.
