Dearest Children
Thank you for the grand letter and message. I dont know where I will be for Xmas. I am homesick for home Um, and my darling Marilee. I want to be home.
Helen is taking wonderful care of me. She doesn’t want to drive me home. I want to be home for Xmas. Time will tell. I am sad because I can’t do anything for Xmas for my loved ones.
So all I can do is send them my love. I’ll try to decide where I will be so you can send present. Darling there isn’t anything I can suggest to send.
So glad Kristine will be home. It is nice to have a boyfriend, something special about it. Remember me to your folks give them my love. They are choice.
I hope the boys get a scout master. Scouting is such a rewarding activity.
