Dear Sister
That means all of you. I arrived in a new camp this morning. We left Camp Robenson Wed. at sun set. We had a good trip on the train and slept on it 4 nights.
I will be placed in a unit or troop I hope I like it. It is the cavalry but no horses. It looks like they should change it to some other name. When one think of cavalry he think of horses and riders. They still use a lot of horses in some divisions of cavalry, but one thing I wont have to march so much — horse.
I dont hear too much from Johnette. I hope she is not too preoccupied.
Mean I hope every thing is all the way it should be when I get back. I will have to have something if I get back.
It is all most half past winter and I dont hear too much from home. I guess I cant expect too much. Dont get too much but write and tell about things are getting along.
I hope you are all fine. How is the weather at home. A lot of changes can happen with weather and others.
I am getting along fine. Tell Frank I will write him soon.
So long
William
