Dearest Mary,
A Happy Birthday to our first born. What a flood of happy memories flash through my mind on this eventful day. Uncle Wm Thompson, Aunt Mary, Albert and Ann, and the other members are with us. Aunt Mary washed and dressed you and brought you to me. Every one was so kind and that full to us.
I think I could have spent the rest of my life there with those lovely people, but fate ruled it otherwise. I have found happiness everywhere for we take happiness with us.
It was on the 16th of June 1910 when a beautiful little girl came in our lives. It was on the 1st anniversary of our marriage. We named her Mary after an aunt who had raised me. This Aunt was one of the dearest souls that I ever knew. She felt a keen delight in the fact that we had named our baby after her.
Well time and change have been kind to our little girl. She has always been an administering angel to her brothers & sisters so on her natal day we all send her our love and best wishes and gratitude.
