Maria Thompson Hatch, wife of Orin Hatch
Born Aug 16, 1838 at Davis Co., Missouri.
Emigrated to Utah in 1851. Lived in Bountiful where she married Orin Hatch May 2nd 1856.
8 children result of union.
She filled a mission with her husband to colonize Eagle Valley, Cal — now Carson City, Nevada in 1856–57.
Died Oct. 16, 1911, at Bountiful.
Was President of Primary (South Bountiful) 17 yrs.
